Victoria Vada - A Relishing Treat!

The Moong dal vadas(lentil fritters), popularly known as the 'Victoria Vada' is a must-have street delight of Kolkata. Your trip to the city is incomplete without a pit-stop at the 'Chauhan Victoria Vadawala'. The crunchy hot Vadas are served with spicy coriander and garlic chutney. It is a treat to watch them roll out batches of these vadas at such a great speed and precision. I bet you can't be satisfied with just one plate. I ended up having 3 of them. Even the former British Prime Minister David Cameron couldn't resist but try these vadas during his official visit to India in November 2013. He relished the garlic chutney and learnt about it from the vendor. Later, he tweeted:
